Dead Man’s Bones Concert!

The Dead Man’s Bones last night was amazing! Both Ryan and Zach impressed me with basically… everything. The choir kids were adorable and their female singer, Zoe (I believe) was amazing as well. The talent show before they got on stage was somewhat amusing, although there was one act that was a major “WTF”.

Since I can’t do an entire review about it, here’s some of my favorite moments from the show:

  • Random drunk girl gets on stage, Ryan and Zach look confused, but play along with it anyway. Said random drunk girl places a card in Ryan’s back pocket.
  • The entire Pa Pa Power song. Everything about it was EPIC. I really loved it.
  • At one point during the show, Ryan and Zach “fake shoot” one of the choir kids and then the two of them, along with Zoe, pull up a white sheet to cover the girl (who is now laying on the floor) and a projector starts up and this video starts playing on the sheet itself. Ryan starts talking and saying things that kept popping up in the video like “Balloon with face,” “Girl with mustache,” “Boy with viking hat”, etc. The way he was doing it was hilarious.
  • After the video finishes, the little choir girl on the floor gets up (Still with the sheet covering her) and it shows only her shadow while she starts singing “Bang Bang”. LITTLE GIRL HAS GOT SOME VOCALS. Definitely the best part of the show.

And after the show, I stuck around for maybe an hour or so and got to meet Ryan who is way gorgeous in person! He’s a total sweetheart too. I didn’t get a picture with Zach because, I think, he went back inside to finish packing up some of their equipment. Maybe next time, if they decide to do another tour here! And just cause, here’s one of my favorite photos from last night’s show.

Lakers!!

Lakers

After a horrible finals last year, the Lakers redeemed themselves against a pretty competitive Magic team (still love you Dwight!). So proud of the Lakers, and especially of both Kobe and Derek. Four championship rings for the both of them, this time one won without Shaq. LOVE IT.

Glee!

Glee was awesome! Can’t believe we have to wait until the fall to watch the rest of the season though. Fail.

Salute To Twilight Convention

Figured I should update this with something… Salute To Twilight convention was amazing. 100 Monkeys show was 100x better though. The guys are amazing live, like literally. Meeting Ben G, Jerad and Jackson (no Ben J… maybe next time!) was basically the highlight of my weekend. Full report can be found at my livejournal: http://graupner.livejournal.com/40300.html

Few concert photos are also up at Jackson-Rathbone.Com. I had a sweet spot during the concert haha. :)

I suck at this.

“So, you were scared, weren’t you Goldie? Somebody wanted you dead and you knew it. Well, I’m gonna find that son of a bitch that killed you, and I’m gonna give him the hard goodbye. Walk down the right back alley in Sin City, and you can find anything.”

Give me Sin City 2 now please.
